We’re excited to continue our brand new series of book and author events in partnership with some of our favorite writers and downtown restaurants. LUNCH & LIT is back July 23 with it’s third installment featuring Chef Shaun Garcia at Soby’s (which is NEVER open for lunch) and the fabulous Karen White, with her brand new to paperback novel, The Night The Lights Went Out.
Recently divorced, Merilee Dunlap is starting over in the Atlanta suburb of Sweet Apple, Georgia, a town where appearance is everything. Sins and secrets are as likely to be found behind the walls of gated mansions as in the dark woods surrounding Merilee’s house. Her blooming friendships with the town matriarch Sugar Prescott and tennis-white soccer mom Heather Blackford soon reveal that under the shiny surface, Sweet Apple is anything but sweet.
A copy of The Night The Lights Went Out is included in your ticket. Tickets are $40. (We will also have Karen’s newest release, Dreams of Falling, available for sale at the event.)
