In Conversation With Clemson horticulturist, Jim Faust, on Poinsettias

On the night of the Greenville Christmas Tree lighting (Friday, November 30), feel free to duck inside our door to join us for a discussion about another favorite holiday plant:  the poinsettia. M. Judson's "In Conversation With" series will feature Jim Faust, an associate professor of horticulture at Clemson University who has been studying poinsettias since he was in college in the 1980s.  He conducts research to help greenhouse growers successfully produce poinsettias each holiday season, and he has some advice for selecting and caring for this plant. He'll even bring some plants for show-and-tell, and who doesn't love a good show-and tell?

And as always, Mr. Poinsett himself will be reading his book out front. You can go outside and get your picture taken with him, if you're so inclined.  Coincidence? We think not, but come join us on Friday, November 30 from 5 - 5:45 pm and find out for yourself.
