This debut collection from Greenville writer (and head of the Creative Writing department at the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities) is Southern storytelling at its best. Linked by a common voice, time and place, Scott Gould brings us a young man's summer-slow coming of age, set against a sleepy town wrestling with ghosts and Southern Baptists, Vietnam vets and dead husbands, racial tension and innocence lost. We've worked with Alex George (from GB & D) to craft the kind of menu that reflects these characters 1970s Southern roots. This night is going to be full of fun takes on familiar, old-school favorites. Dinner starts at 7:00.
