When a Little Press Gets Big Attention

If your book is on the Man Booker longlist, people are going to want to read it.  A lot of people.  And if you’re not a major publishing house and didn’t have a huge run of the book, it’s going to be a scramble to make that happen.  Three independent publishers are feeling that beautiful pain right now, as Allison Flood reports for The Guardian, and handling it very well.  Well done, Man Booker panel, for giving the little guys fair due. And well done, little guys, for rising to the occasion.
