We’re excited to host award-winning Atlanta chef Todd Richards in conversation with our own Ashley Warlick about his new cookbook SOUL: A Chef’s Culinary Evolution in 150 Recipes.
Chef Todd Richards is known for his contemporary cooking style rooted in Soul and Southern cuisine. A native of Chicago and a self-taught chef, he was twice named a semifinalist for James Beard Foundation Best Chef: Southeast. He’s a member of the Southern Foodways Alliance, the chef and owner of Richards’ Southern Fried, and the Culinary Director of Jackmont Hospitality, overseeing the restaurants One Flew South and Chicken + Beer in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Ashley Warlick is an author, most recently of the novel The Arrangement, based on the life and loves of legendary food writer MFK Fisher. She’s an avid cook and eater, editor-at-large of edible Upcountry magazine, and the buyer of cookbooks here at M. Judson.
