Reading & signing with Hanif Abdurraqib

Poet, essayist and cultural purveyor of awesomeness Hanif Abdurraqib will be reading poems and talking about his incredible style with local poet Mamie Morgan in a gathering you won't want to miss.  Hanif's work has been published in Vinyl, The New Yorker. PEN American, The Fader, and the New York Times. His cultural, mostly musical, criticism through essays and poems reflects an explosion of sharp observations and curiosity that connects his subjects and himself to the complicated America we sometimes live in.  Come increase your cool factor and listen to Hanif's lyrical insights as he reads from his poetry collection, The Crown Ain't Worth Much, and essays,  They Can't Kill Us Until They Kill Us.
