Reading with Ross White

Join us at 7pm for a reading and discussion with NC poet Ross White. He’s the author of the chapbook, How We Came Upon the Colony: “a powerful, darkly funny, refreshingly un-self-centered, humane, and deeply satisfying work from one of our very best young writers and editors.” -Michael McFee.

With Matthew Olzmann, White edited Another & Another: An Anthology from the Grind Daily Writing Series.  He was the 2012 winner of the James Larkin Pearson Prize and the Gladys Owings Hughes Prize.  His poems have appeared in Best New Poets 2012, Poetry Daily, New England Review, The Southern Review, and others.  He currently teaches at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.
