M.Judson is thrilled to invite you to a book release party for our very own amazing in-house poet, Kathleen Nalley. Ray McManus says, “The poems in Gutterflower break open what is dammed and what is damned. It is not a book about floods that are expected to come, rather what has already come, what is left, what is just under the surface of the dirt that covers everything.”
A native of South Carolina, Kathleen teaches literature and writing at Clemson University and finds books their forever home here at M. Judson. Gutterflower is her first full-length collection of poems. Join us in celebration as Kathleen reads from her work and discusses the roots of her powerful insights on the things that try to crack the human spirit, and the hope that lies in resistance.
