Join us for a special storytime with Greenville author Christa Miller as she reads from her new children’s book, Raccoon Rescue, and signs copies for young readers. The story of what happens when a small raccoon is “rescued” by humans from the perspective of a young raccoon family is the first in a series to educate young kids about human and wildlife interactions. It’s printed in dyslexia-friendly font and comes with curriculum enhancements, which makes this a great tool for homeschoolers or teachers of grades 2-3.
Christa Miller, with her two boys, likes to tromp around the woods and rivers in the area as well volunteer with wildlife rescue and write. Her experiences have culminated in this entertaining and informative story. Show your kids how to support local writers! 1pm.
