Burr and Hamilton Have Their Day

After careers of opposition, Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton came to duel at 7am on July 11, 1804.  Vice President Burr shot his political opponent.  Hamilton died the next day.  Thank you, Lin-Manuel Miranda, for bringing that story out of the dusty past and into the very real today.  May we all learn from our past and look for ways to resolve things that do not involve guns.
